Reports
Reports of progress will be sent to parents of all pupils at the end of each school year. For Y2 pupils this will include Teacher Assessment Levels and in Year 6 SATs results.
Parents Meetings
Formal parents' meetings take place in the Autumn and Spring/Summer terms to discuss your child's progress. The Headteacher and Class teachers are available all year round to discuss your individual concerns. We would appreciate you making an appointment so as not to delay the Class teacher at the beginning of the day.
Complaints Procedure
All the necessary documents and information are available on request from the Headteacher, should any parent wish to complain about the way the National Curriculum is being applied in this school. All other documents concerning the Education Reform Act 1988 are also available.
Charging Policy
All educational activities in school time have, by law, to be financed by the school. Parents may be asked to make voluntary contributions toward this cost.
Personal Property
Parents are asked to note that the Authority does not accept any responsibility for loss of, or damage to, personal property whilst on or left at, the Authority’s premises. In the light of this please encourage your child to take responsibility for his/her belongings.
School Grounds
There is a no smoking policy both within the school buildings and the school grounds. All visitors are asked to extinguish all cigarettes etc. before entering the school grounds.
Similarly, for the protection of the children in our care
dogs are not allowed on school premises (even on a leash).
