Pastoral Care and Standards of Behaviour

Every effort is made to treat each child as a loving parent would. By creating an atmosphere of co-operation and mutual respect within the school, the children are encouraged to show independent behaviour and a responsible attitude.

We cannot achieve any real measure of success without the confidence and support of parents. Life in school today is founded on close co-operation between Staff, parents/carers and children.

Our Whole School Behaviour Policy is designed to ensure the safety and happiness of all our children. We propose four simple school rules which are quickly understood by all our children.
  • We respect and care for others.
  • We listen to others.
  • We work together to keep everyone safe.
  • We always do our best.
A system of rewards and consequences provides a fair framework for celebrating good behaviour and achievement across the school, whilst encouraging children to take responsibility for their own actions, where behaviour is unacceptable.
